So the day began at The Secret Salon in Eccles and on arriving in Eccles I was greeted by some pretty dull skies. The upstairs room of the Salon has an amazing window at the front which seems to invite any light into the room. Even in dull weather the light was fantastic for wedding photography and Bridal preparation shots.
Bridal prep photographs in the bag, so to speak, and it's off to Salford Registrars Office in Eccles to meet the Groom who is already there with his best man and parents.
An hour to take some scene setting photos and then it's time for the Bride, along with her father, to arrive in the wedding car and the groom is now nervously waiting in the ceremony room.
By this time the sky is brightening a little and we can get some formals and the group photo in a nice light before setting off to The Worsley Court House for the Wedding Breakfast, speeches and evening dancing.
En route we stopped off at a picturesque spot on the canal with a cobbled bridge set against the summer greenery. This gave us a little time for private shots away from the watching guests and the couple could just relax and be themselves. No posing required or requested - they were totally natural and at ease.
We booked David for our wedding on Friday 13th July and he was very understanding from the moment we booked him right up until the wedding, allowing for any problems we had in the lead up. He was incredibly unobtrusive on the day, with neither myself or my groom noticing him taking pictures unless he needed us posed a certain way. The photos all arrived within a week of our wedding, and are of a fantastic quality, I will definitely be recommending him to any friends or family who need a photographer. Thank you for even making our formals feel relaxed and natural.
